LE PROCÈS

Robotic Performance

LE PROCÈS - THE TRIAL shows in a symbolic way the trial of machines by men, as well as the trial of men by machines.

This project's goal is to create a multimedia performance staging a world populated exclusively by robotic actors. It will also be presented as an autonomous interactive installation.

It acts like a reflexive tribunal where identities intermix, where juges, jurors, victims and accused, take flesh in metal creatures born from our own conception of the world, of what is good and what is bad, of what is alive and what is not. As in Kafka's famous novel, of which crime are we accused? Who's judging? What will be the verdict?
